Interesting read!
3. Distressing Statistics. I’m sure you need some bad stats . . . Texas Tech never converted a third down, 0-10.... in fact, on those third downs, Texas Tech averaged 6.2 yards to go and gained 1.6,

that is incredible.

The game was kind of boring in the best way possible. So this is what it's like to have a good team?

It reminded me a little of the TCU game last season (a lower-scoring version of it). Built enough of a lead that we didn't realistically have to sweat in the second half, but you wanted to watch and see if we could pile on a few more scores.

Except I was at that TCU game last year, my first since I moved to Michigan in 2011, so there was nothing boring about that for me.

Watching our game yesterday and several other Big XII games this year, I noticed a lot of new referee faces. I probably missed it in an offseason thread, but it looks like the conference had some retirements (including "guns" Defee. Our favorite ref Reggie is now in the B1G.

They are sticking closer to home to limit travel this year, although possibly more retirements than normal too.

When was the last time ISU allowed this sort of thing?

Watching this game now on YT.

The Oline is definitely better and this is what a controlled offense looks like. Complimentary football and several players contributing.

I didn't see much from Daniel Jackson in other games but it looks like there's some nice raw ability going on there and he wants to make a play.

I wonder how many players that could move on will use eligibility for next season.

In 2018, the Aggies ranked second in the NCAA in scoring at a whopping 47.5 yards per game.

I'm not sure how many games that's going to win.
