Students did a great job last night. Also, props to the pep band for playing some RAGE, appropriate considering the nature of the game and Hilton.

I read on twitter (he tweeted WRNL) something about not being at the game last night because of a test at 7:30 this morning.
I think you're taking for granted how important HE is to the gameday experience. Only HE is good enough to carry that flag. Only HE has the right to barely make it all the way around Hilton in two fight songs. Only HE is important enough to have a seat reserved for him, despite no actual right or official title. HE is the only one that realizes we need to be quiet during free throws. And only HE can pull off Baylor green shorts.

This really makes me sad. I really love that tradition, and this egotistical little piglet is ruining it for me.
They should have given the flag to Brackens and had him do it. Hell, he already runs faster than Flag Guy can. Speaking of Brackens, he was just killing it last night - all over the place and bringing so much energy. Sometimes I think I was watching and laughing at his antics more than the game itself. He's great.
I have loved Gladys from the first time I saw that magnificent pink pair bouncing on the big screen before Christmas. S/he is a hilarious addition to Cy. I hope when Brackins graduates, he passes Gladys on to another spirited student (or two or three).
