What a bunch of boring early (11-12 starting time) games. I know a lot of teams play cupcakes the first game of the season, but it would be nice to see a good matchup or 2 kicking off the day. I tried going with Purdue and Cincinnati, but Purdue couldn't make it a good game.

Rice is keeping it relatively close at halftime against Texas A&M after a tipped pass TD to end the half 21-28. Johnny Football plays in the second half though, so it'll be funny to see A&M get criticized even more for only suspending him for a half -- looks like they needed him for this game.

West Virginia is on Upset Alert, tied 17-17 with William & Mary in the 4th.

Rice making it a game. 28 points and 450 yards of offense at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Wow.

Oklahoma State is struggling to find any offense.

Iowa isn't looking that great on offense. They are doing a decent job on Lynch though.

Yeah, watching OSU is a bit painful right now.

I want to beat everyone in the Big 12, obviously, but it pains me how terrible we're starting as a conference. KSU lost, WVU nearly did against a delicious cupcake.

Looking ahead to tonight, you can't count out UNI over us, Louisiana-Monroe over OU, and of course LSU over TCU.

But Baylor and Texas should cruise to victories, guaranteed.

The Big 12 (at least the bottom) has not looked good. This is a year where we could make some noise. Now, that's assuming we take care of business tonight. Man, the gap seems to close every year.

Wowwwww anyone see that bullet OSU just dodged? Final second of half, field goal blocked, Mississippi State ran it all the way back to OSU's 10 yard line before getting tackled.

Iowas QB throws a pick with 1:20 left to hand the game to Northern Illinois. Love it!
