Favorite tourney of the year to watch. I was up at 4 am to catch some coverage before heading to work. Best coverage is on DirecTV and their International View channel.

Rory on fire this morning. Tiger looked good after a couple rough holes to start off with. Sergio doing his typical open experience, start off well - then blow up on Sunday.

The British Open is always fun to watch. The weather can, and sometimes does, make it real interesting. Hope Tiger stays in the hunt; it certainly keeps me interested, too.

A final pairing of Tiger/Rory with Phil in the hunt....ratings gold if it happens.

Kaymer had a rough one there. I like the guy in the booth with Van Pelt. Tells it like it is.

I love DirecTV's coverage of the Open but I wish they had the WatchESPN app so I could stream it at work instead of settling for just the coverage of three holes. I want all the coverage while I pretend to be productive!

I think it was Peter Alliss. He didn't hold back on some of the shorter putts that were missed. He didn't rail on the guys, but definitely had his opinions on what needed to be done.

I was watching this morning when Azinger called the Claret Jug the Wanamaker like 4 times. He's such a knob. Also, bring on the the Bubba at the British jokes.

I'm rooting for Fowler and DJ. Not a huge fan of Rory, though he seems like a nice enough kid in interviews. Just the way he carries himself on the course, when he's playing well or not, has rubbed me wrong. I like Johnson and Fowler because you never know how good or bad they are playing. Both are very even keeled, emotionally.
