So you have a team losing players and short bench, who already is a bottom 2 team in this league. Now you have to go to Hilton, after already losing to ISU. They have a rookie coach and now a change in routine for an athlete, which has to affect you as individuals and as a team.

Iowa State should be focused and motivated. The defense will come through on top of all of that. Love Iowa State to win by 15 at least.

They certainly are 15 points better in that scenario, but this is also a classic circle the wagons game, and they've only lost one guy that mattered. So essentially playing the same team that we played a close game with not long ago. I'm still guessing around 78-65 Cyclones, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's tense.

Just a thought... Kentucky hosts Kansas next Saturday. We travel to Ole Miss. Any chance the blue bloods get a taste of Hilton next year?

  • If Babb passes up an open 3pt for a one step inside the line 2-drink
  • If Shayok misses an easy layup that he could have dunked-drink
  • If Halliburton does a spinning no look pass to a player that is right next him-drink
  • If the team allows the opponent to get a rebound from their own FT-drink
  • If we foul a 3pt-drink
  • If Lard gets 2 fouls in the first 2 mins of coming in-drink
  • If Prohm has his jacket off by the first time out-drink
  • If Wiggs gets his lunch packed by driving into a triple team-drink
  • If THT misses a wide open 3pt-drink
  • If MJ misses an and 1-drink

Could be sending someone into a drunken coma with that list.

I don’t think so. It is kinda interesting though that Ole Miss is just another instance where we get a team on the schedule and they greatly improve.

Sorry I'm going off topic here but as long as we are talking ISU basketball, I haven't seen anyone talk much about next Saturday's game at Mississippi. That is an incredible coincidence that the two worst teams from both conferences last year got matched up to play, and BOTH of them have done complete 180's and are near the top of their leagues this year.

So today's game could possibly be one of the few cakewalks we will get all year, but wow, next Saturday will be a dogfight I think. I prefer the chance to beat someone where it means something. OK, sorry but I just wanted to get that out there, back to Okie Light.

Easy solution to Mississippi game.

Beat KU there Monday night.

I hate to defend KU, but WVU plays nothing like basketball. Uuuuuuuuuuuuugly game at WVU.

And yet they beat KU by 1. All good for ISU going into KU as their confidence should be shaken. It also balances our road loss to BU. Just need to take care of business vs OSU today.

Thanks WV now we are staring down a good ole ass whipping Monday in the Phog.

It’s possible but without Azubuike this KU team just isn’t that intimidating. And They don’t even have one guard that can truly blow up let alone the two they normally have.

I've accepted next Saturday as a loss. ISU just sucks at the SEC Challenge.

That's turned into a potential good win though if they happen to pull it off.

I took this as just having fun and not being negative.

And it is awesome...well done.

Have we ever hosted during the SEC challenge? It seems we are always the road team, and it doesnt go well

We got drilled by Tennessee last year. Beat Arkansas and Auburn early in the challenge.
