At some point when the QB doesn't simply throw it out of bounds when it's not there and the possession is possibly game winning, it has to come down to coaches.

This is not complicated stuff and logic defies what could a really great season.

Purdy is straight trash today. No other way to say it. Guy has been solid all year, and he will be fine. Just not a good day from him at all. This is what Iowa State has to stop doing...pissing away opportunities. OU loses today and Iowa State is very much in the thick of the title race, and at home against a team you are favored by double digits, you just do classic Iowa State stuff. Just one time can we rise to the occasion.

Purdy really does make some REALLY terrible decisions at times.

The thing is they really haven't been. They are protecting the big plays after giving them up all year. The flats and underneath stuff is there all day. Just didn't adjust to it until too late. Should have dropped 40+ on these guys.

Everything trying to go down the middle, missing throws, missing wide open guys in the flats, missing easy running lanes for a QB run...

Brock will be an all-time great, but this loss is on him.
