No they didn’t.
This is SQUARELY on Manning’s shoulders.
Even now and then your top players don’t get it done. Purdy looked as bad today as he ever has.
At some point when the QB doesn't simply throw it out of bounds when it's not there and the possession is possibly game winning, it has to come down to coaches.
This is not complicated stuff and logic defies what could a really great season.
They need to work on fundamentals all week long during this bye week.
Purdy is straight trash today. No other way to say it. Guy has been solid all year, and he will be fine. Just not a good day from him at all. This is what Iowa State has to stop doing...pissing away opportunities. OU loses today and Iowa State is very much in the thick of the title race, and at home against a team you are favored by double digits, you just do classic Iowa State stuff. Just one time can we rise to the occasion.
Well, there goes Brocktober... damn. What is up with the play calling?
I don't even have words for that throw. If that OSU defender doesn't pick it off... then the one covering ISU's TE would have.
Purdy really does make some REALLY terrible decisions at times.
Everything trying to go down the middle, missing throws, missing wide open guys in the flats, missing easy running lanes for a QB run...
Brock will be an all-time great, but this loss is on him.
I think you meant to say zero reason to pass the ball there ...
At least this end of all the Brocktober bs
6 - 7 wins I said after Baylor and caught heck. Better hope we get to 6.
More so bad decisions by Purdy
As disgusted I am with this game and frustrated with Purdy he has won alot of games for us.
Purdy breaks the ISU completion record and at the same time looked absolutely horrible.
Yeah but these weird decisions aren't new and today it finally caught up to him.
That was just ****ing stupid and comes down to fundamentals and reps and situational teaching.
But I thought we were going to win. Told you it just wasn't in the cards.
Losing in the margins
Gotta ask...how many times has he led a game winning drive?
Yep. He looked like a high school quarterback today.
Well at least nobody fell off the upper deck today....errrr
