Yeah, I agree with this one. Iowa wouldn't stand a chance against the mighty NDSU. But this is a thread for predicting the Iowa State-NDSU game.

Sounds right to me. Mangino has the offense clicking. We struggle against the run, but make them work the entire field to get scores. Close into fourth quarter, but we get a turnover and FG to ice it.

Energized Cyclone team doesn't let the opener sneak up on them again. OL has a solid performance with only 1 sack, while SR has a solid 2 TD showing while only making one error for an interception. Bibbs and the receiving core additionally do well and everybody cheers when Lazard makes his first two career receptions as a Cyclone. Nealy and Wimberly each find the end zone once and C(Sw)ole Netten **** kicks a field goal in from 42 and 35 out while nailing all xtra points. The defense has some expected miscues and the Bison never roll over for the Clones, but ISU is in the driver seat for most of the game. Cyclone fans wait for the nut shot as it is only a 1-2 score game the entire way through but overall a very productive first game for the offense and not a bad showing from the defense either. 34-24 is the final and there is a very solid base to build off of from what the team gave Rhoads

Wrong. Are you sure you aren't thinking of Iowa basketball instead? Maybe ISU's nonconference games against the sisters of the poor were that way but the student section was full every game with the exception of maybe 2-3 rows at the top of the balcony for a few of the weekday games. Maybe you should stop getting your ISU news from Hawkeye Nation.
