Did I just see CBS put the #2 next to South Carolina's name when they showed their bracket?

Wouldn't doubt it. Hey CBS, where is your ACC 2-0 graphic showing how great their record is? Not to mention that it was wrong as they "forgot" Wake Forest had already lost. #FakeNews

because those sweet 16's were in the 70s way before there was even just 64 teams in the tournament. They only had to win one game back then to be in the sweet 16. I think the announcers mean modern day sweet sixteens.

It's kind of like how nobody talks about how ISU has a Final Four appearance. It happened back when ISU only had to win one game to get there.

Like ISU's Final Four in 1944 really only being the 2nd round. :)
