How much do players hate coaches for giving them the "It'd be best if you transfer" talk?

I know nothing of this world, but if I signed to play with a coach, I'd expect loyalty even if it didn't come with playing time. I committed to you, you committed to me, etc. Wouldn't coaches get a bad rap if they're constantly telling their players to transfer out of the program? Thoughts?

Fred doesn't tell them to leave. Some basketball players just leave so they can you know, actually play basketball. If they don't want to leave, they don't have to unless the get in trouble like Bubu.

I'd bet on a transfer being one of the Jucos we signed this year, not named Hogue. Vaughn possibly being a one and done means Long and SDW would still have a year or two after he left to play good minutes.

It says he chose Chipola JC over Indian Hills. Are we recruiting him?

This kid had offers from; Indiana, Florida, Illinois, and Louisville just to name a few coming out of JUCO. Those are not average programs. He'll more than make-up for some of the things Melvin has done for us, and you add extra experience with Thomas, Morris, Hogue, Niang, with us hopefully getting Vaughn. This will be a scary team to face next year, and for years to come. I know the majority of the credit should go to Fred, but lets not forget some of this credit should be given to HILTON MAGIC, and the atmosphere we all create every game.

I don't know why people worry so much about who we lose. Someone who's getting minutes isn't transferring out, and they are leaving to play. It's a win win for both parties.

This thread should be a discussion cheering the fact that he chose ISU, and how he will help the team. \

It's just silly and a total waste of time to be discussing who may or may not be leaving when at the moment, no one needs to go anywhere. Can't we at least get through this season before that stupid speculation starts?

Awesome news! Things have really fallen into place! Another thought.. now Nader has a guy to spend the season with and build chemistry with when the team is out of town. Much like Korie/Will and Babb/Royce/McGee/Allen. Now Nader will have someone to lean on and spend time with in the gym and weight room.
