Four or five NBA players on this UConn team?I was pretty confident when we played UConn early in that tournament championship game that they had all the pieces to be the best team in the country. Still looking that way. No idea what happened in their midseason skid.
does that include tonights game? crazy that 2 of these matchup are going to happen in consecutive games.#4 seeds are 58-44 all-time vs. #5 seeds, but 2-0 in games outside the Round of 32.
So much build up and excitement for the tourney and it's all gone in 2 1/2-3 weeks.
Agree this tourney has been so fun. I think I watched almost every game Haha. It's bittersweet --- wonderful few weeks, bummer that it has to end.

"Fun" challenge for @HoopsTournament ... using Google Map, roughly 44 hours by car between San Diego State & UConn. Is that the largest travel separation for teams in NCAA tournament title game?
I did a couple of tests -- Gonzaga vs. UNC in 2017 - 38 hours. UCLA-Florida (2006) 35 hours.
Good work.https://www.reddit.com/r/CollegeBasketball/comments/1298e8j
Looks like Stanford Dartmouth was just a bit farther according to this Reddit post.
It’s not a coincidence, UConn did that to him. UConn is just a great team on both ends.Pack was straight up awful tonight. Prob worst game I’ve seen him play.

Another fascinating tidbit! The 72-71 score in the first game tonight is the 2nd occurrence of that score in this year's tournament. Arkansas also defeated Kansas 72-71.
The only other score that happened more than once was 79-76: Gonzaga over UCLA and Florida Atlantic over Kansas State.
Needed more NIL to buy more shoes. Inflation you know.Pack was straight up awful tonight. Prob worst game I’ve seen him play.
I somehow won two pools I was in despite having Arizona winning it all in one and Alabama winning in all in the other. UCONN in the final in both put me over the edge. Got about $1000 coming my way. I wish I would have won the monster pool I'm in. Winner gets like $6500 (70%) second gets 20% and third gets 10%. Bama killed me in that one.
