Not sure. Could be. I think there's reason to start making that argument.
I think if you asked the pro scouts they would tell you that they saw talent on the ISU squad but they seemed to lack some very basic fundamentals.
Whether it's the players fault or the coaches fault can be debated. To argue in favor of the coach, you would need to assume all the ISU players lack the same ability to apply some basic fundamentals. To argue in favor of the players, you would need to assume the direction of the coaching lacks the correct approach. In my opinion, there is clearly one individual responsible to initiate and drive this change.
Just pure odds or common sense clearly suggests the stronger argument.
Its still very correctable but time is slipping for this team to live up to it's potential. This team needs to stick together and solve the problems as a team, not pointing fingers. Identify the problems that are pretty clear and address them openly in their practices.
