I can't believe no one has started this thread.

Iowa leads after 125 3-0. Pin or Iowa at 133 so it is now 9-0

Hopefully the heavier weights can do something.

Really? You can't believe it? Given the trajectories that these two programs are on right now, I wouldn't be surprised if Iowa fans outnumber ISU fans in Hilton today.

Excitement level is next to zero for the casual ISU wrestling fan. And while the wrestling gurus can look down their noses at the rest of us and insist that everything is okay, it's hard for most of us to believe that things are headed in a positive direction, no matter how badly we'd like to be chugging the kool-aid.

At 149# looks like we are tied up 1-1 at the end of the 3rd period.

Definitely needed that one to at least even make it interesting, now here's hoping our heavier weights can pull off the wins to at least make this respectable.

Jackson is a good coach. I like the intensity he brings to our wrestlers. I like that our wrestlers are more attackers than we were under Sanderson. But Jackson better start getting some talent and developing that talent or we could be in a bad way for a long time. Our wrestling program cannot tank like it has over the past 2 years.

22-0 Iowa after a Derek St. John pin at 157#

Like I said before, hopefully we can pull of wins at the heavier weights to make this respectable...
