With the shorthanded backcourt, I think this is the opportune time to test out the 2 post lineup. Maybe Talley plays the four to start, but we can't have 3 good post players rotating 1 position while expecting the other 4 to give 35+ minutes.

Coach won’t have much of a problem with his substitutions tonight

We'll certainly see what kind of stuff our guys are made of. I think we'll be happy with what we see. I've got a feeling we should have some confidence in these guys. It's not like falling apart when we lost to Baylor, then Hampton.

I have to agree with Mr. Hines here:

Do Jacobson and Lard have even 5 minutes together on the court this year?

There will have to be 2 bigs on the floor this game. I cant imagine even Prohm is stubborn enough to try to force the 4 guard thing down 2 starters.
I can truly hope...

I don't know that Prohm "forces" playing the best players (4 guards) in the normal line up.

Don't be to disappointed when you see Talley (+track record vs WV), Lewis and even Griffin log minutes...
I fully expect to see a lot of 4G/F tonight. That isn't being stubborn rather playing to the teams strength.

Playing Griffin isn’t playing to this team’s strengths. Even Talley and Lewis as playing to the team’s strengths rings hollow given how little minutes they’ve received.

Really? The reason Talley, Lewis, and Griffin minutes are limited is due to the quality of wing play ISU has above them. With Shayok and likely NWB out, I can see the staff not wanting to change their season long system and game plan for one game.

Jacobson, Lard and Conditt haven't played more than an hand full of minutes together all year and to expect that to become the best lineup with out even a practice to plan seems optimistic.

One team has nothing to play for except pride. Other team is a paper tiger without 2 starters. First team to get punched in the mouth loses.

When things like this happen teams get focused. Subs step up. I think we win tonight where as I was skeptical before. Also assuming everyone will be back within a week, this can only help for the NCAA tourney. Get some key people some rest and get some key subs more minutes. People have been clamoring for a change and we're gonna get a good shake up. I like it!
Or.... the other thing happens, which would be pretty bad
