All 11 of Shayok's 3 point attempts were more open than Wigginton's last one yes
It is a sign a dog is too old and needs to be put down.
I could see going with a big 4 against KU to counter their size, though I suppose we might try to run them off the floor with small ball too. Just depends what is working (or isn't).
He wasn’t wide open, but it was a shooting guard with a good look and in rhythm. He may have been 0-5 prior, but he made it when it really mattered. That’s what good players do.
The only reason Wigginton should pass up that shot is to get a teammate an even better shot, but we don’t have that chemistry yet.
You don't watch every minute of every conference game. You've pouted and turned the TV off.

Shayok was more open on all 11 of his attempts than Wigginton was on the last one. If you watched the whole game you would know that. You missed his first 3 probably since it wasn't on TV yet but they were all reported as open looks on Twitter

Yes. Unless he took a late in the shot clock 3 I don't remember he was taking wide open shots. Also FWIW Wigginton is my favorite player on the team

Maybe try to refrain from typing every thought that comes to your mind during a game because, hey, the game of basketball still ebs and flows. Looking back at some of the posts on this thread during that last 4 minutes in the 1st half shows you all you need to to see how dumb it can make you look.
Our team is good, and will get better. Players will have bad games, role players will play out of their minds. It's ******* basketball.
Chill out and lets get more than 1 game into the conference season before we start labeling players as selfish or calling for someones starting spot, etc. etc. **** happens every year.
I enjoy the banter to an extent, cause you can actually talk through basketball with people, and get peoples thought, but some things are so tiresome and overplayed it makes me not want to engage with the threads at all.
One game is one game. And the good thing for us, although some may not be able to tell because of this thread, is we won the game.

The only conclusion is he is a selfish shooter/rebounder and an unslefish passer.
And that is why we will continue to lose games like we have in the past.

He took good shots. He missed more than anyone would like, but that doesn’t equate to being selfish, particularly given his track record.
Nearly everyone on the team could play smarter on offense. Given what we’ve seen the past couple years, maybe the improvement doesn’t happen, but it’s only Game 2 together.
