Every analyst that does our games, including Manzer tonight, cannot believe how smooth Halliburton is. HuggyBear had to watching our game tonight thinking he would trade his WI frosh for ours any day of the week.

We looked like trash and we still won. Feel like I'm posting this a little too often, but I'll take wins no matter how we get them

Any game from here on out is get the win and on to the next and if it's a loss, on to the next.

That's a place ISU didn't win at forever at one point and this is a young team that needed a win like this. That early lead was great and all and a blow out would have been fun but having to push through can pay dividends.

Take aways of the game:
1. Lindell needs to be on the floor. Period.
2. Lard needs to max out for this team to play their best.
3. Jacobsen looked good in the non-conf but I think he’ll be exposed as a solid #2 off the bench in B12 play.
4. Haliburton is clutch. Reminds me of Naz with those threes. We need to see more of those from him.
5. Shayok seemed like he was having an off night. Needs to slow down with the threes, but can’t really blame him for taking open shots.
6. THT had a rough night, but he still should start over NWB.

Not sure I agree with that.

Wow: 0 pts on 5 attempts and 4 ribbies and he played a lot of minutes. He'll bounce back and I hope soon.

Not too worried, he seems like the kind of player that will follow up with a 20 and 10 night. Who better to do that against than Boo U. Also makes the poise TH played with tonight look that much more impressive.

Good win by the Clones tonight. OSU will finish in 8th-10th but they needed to pick this one up and did.

Wiggington is a force on the offensive end but he has to shore up his pick and roll defense.

Best game for Cam by far. Happy for him and he adds so much to the defensive end of the floor.

Shayok was broke tonight from deep but the combination of him, Halliburton and Babb makes us a very good perimeter defensive team.

Solid ball movement and I like that Prohm controlled some more of the half court sets in the middle of the second half. Ball is occasional stagnant but overall I thought they had good ball movement in the 2nd half.

Major task ahead for them on Saturday. Should be electric.

I think this win will be big.
It’s a good lesson when we start hot and then go cold. We can tell the guys in a timeout, look, we’ve blown leads on the road, we’ll be OK.

Maybe Prohm can start to skype with CF Game Day threads too.

Not sure I agree with that.

I don't get why everyone is down on NWB. Not flashy or chest pounding but he has a sweet shot and doesn't make many mistakes. Really nice, experienced anchor to let the 'kids' play around.
