For a good team, you need a color guy who keeps things interesting, and the more straight laced, tell it like it is guy to describe what is happening, but the key is that they both know a little bit about the teams and a lot about the game of basketball.

And I think the guy that's usually with Walton is a good fit...gives him **** and does a lot of 'well, anyway, back to basketball' even though he enjoyed the conversation.

Heck, Fran and his partner the other night went entire possessions without really saying anything and it was fine.

I think the reality is that everything this team struggles with are things that tech does well. It’s a tall order. They’re not ranked 8th because they are bad.

People are setting themselves up to mad here, add a dose of the anti Prohm crowd, and it will be pretty awful on here later if it gets away from us.

Just want to see a good effort with attention to detail tonight. Take something good away from this one

The spread is at -5 for TT and that sounds about exactly where I'd put it. That is, unless we show up and decide to play hero ball.

LW gets thrown back into the starting lineup and it's the spark that we need. 72-68 Clones.

Good prediction.
We'll see if Prohm feels it is time to make the transition, Wigginton will be starting at some point and after 2 losses it may be time.
Etarting Lindell could make him more comfortable playing the role he has had his entire life even if endu up as the same number of minutes. LW may be pressing a bit coming off the bench forcing his role to make his mark on the game right away (getting more minutes) instead of letting the game come to him.

I will also be watching Lards status, his energy of the bench, altering shots and hustle for lose balls can really help the second unit in what is shaping up to be a nip tuck type game in Lubbock. (Conditt beginning to emerge helps fill that role but having 2 of those bigs is an advantage).

I'm also looking for Talen's break out game too, vs KSU he looked to be settling into B12 play especially the last 5 minutes. THT's ability to get to the rim and dish vs a tough TT D could be critical to stop any scoring droughts.

I actually feel better about this game then the BU/KSU games due Prohm's comments Monday and being an 8PM tip vs a top 10 team vs weird 6PM/11AM tips times. Plus there is some pressure off the team considering they aren't favored. Not predicting a win rather a close game that comes down to the end.

Go State!

Without reading thru, I would LOVE to see someone have a Brown night against TT. Canning 3s with 2 secs left on the shot clock.

I think we score around 50 and lose by 10-12. Hope to be wrong

thinking we start turning the corner after Ole Miss and win a lot of games to end the season. Couple home games in a row vs winnable teams to get back on track.

Zero excitement for this game. The last 2 crap performances really sucked the life out of me. Even if they win I got no juice. It just will sting more when they let us down again later. Don't get your hopes up this team will make you dead inside.
Thanks for the info. I'll make sure to not let you back on the bandwagon even if you do get some of that juice you are looking for.

So you’re gonna sit this season out then, right?

Can you take a redshirt year as a fan? Maybe just sit this one out, come back and try again next season. I don't know what the recovery timetable is for lack of juice or inside deadness.
