I'm fully on board with @1976 now. I don't think there is any way Iowa can hang with a powerhouse like ISU at ISU no less. ISU put up just amazing, eye popping offensive stats vs UNI, no way Iowa defense could withstand a top NFL prospect at QB. It is gonna be a bloodbath.
Judging the comments from Hawk fans about the countdown clock on Twitter and Facebook, it is doing exactly as the ISU coaching staff intended it to do. Get under Hawk fans skin. Thanks for your support!
I love the way CMC has quickly made the Iowa games. ISU's Super Bowl. I didn't know if he would care as much not ever living in Iowa. You know when he steals the put down line of the most storied rivalry in the Midwest he views Iowa as his top rival and Suoer Bowl.
Why else would CMC do what Ohio St. does to Michigan, by calling them the "team out East"? CMC isn’t a dummy, he knows this is ISU fans Super Bowl, and he is gonna treat it as such.
Actually it was started by assistant coach section 8 running his mouth on the radio about the guys in Ames.

Brian just said what is true. Doesn't ISU lead all P5 teams with over 400 scholarship offers made to 2018 HS kids? CMC knows what he is doing why would he be sensitive about an obvious tactical move ISU has made in recruiting?
Well if CMC said exactly what OSU says "That team up North", nobody would understand it. So CMC say "That team out East" pointing to ISU's Super Bowl opponent.

I doubt he cares much about what section 8 thinks, he was just poking back a little. I do admire section 8 intending on signing everyone they offer. It will be interesting to see how they sign 90+ guys next year.
You are crazy! Didn't you see ISU beat UNI by 18 and Crushed the Panthers yardage wise by 27 yards. At the same time Iowa barely beat Wyoming by 21 points and outgained the Cowboys by only 30 yards.
If you can't see that means ISU crushes Iowa by 40, you are an idiot!
