Prohm is big target hunting early for 2021.

"Efton Reid could be arguably the most underrated players within the Top-30 in the 2021 class. The 7-footer from Virginia plays for the Steward school and has no shortage of suitors pursuing him.

“Right now the schools that are on me are Virginia, Georgetown, Miami, Ohio State, Louisville, Maryland, Ole Miss, NC State, Iowa State, Wake Forest,” Reid said."

I hope this is Prohm recognizing that his teams typically have weaknesses in the post and now he is going to push hard for stud post players.

Young will be gone and Conditt has appeared on some early mocks so we could be at bare bones.

I think this is him realizing that kid he brings in the kind of grad transfers that will save his Job they will be gone and he will need studs to sustain it.

Way up there
I saw Millard North a couple of times this year, they were loaded so it was tough for everyone to look great every game but I liked Thomas right away. If he gets a little better off the dribble, he'll really start getting attention. First time I saw him play I got a Melvin Ejim-ish type of feeling.

He'd be a nice kid to get, Omaha actually had a lot of decent players this year. Hopefully we can land a couple.

"Isaiah Barnes is one of the more underrated wings in the 2021 class. The three-star wing in my eyes could potentially be in place for another additional star as he’s drawn himself a national recruitment including several new offers. Standing at 6-foot-7, Barnes has great size and his ability to drive to the rim and score the ball at will separates him from others when on the floor. Also. with length, he brings a defensive presence.

Iowa, Kansas, Maryland and TCU are the newest offers from Barnes who says “Creighton, Illinois, Gonzaga, Iowa State and Michigan are among the schools that been recruiting pretty hard lately.”

That team with Big Vic was one of the best starting fives, but no bench. Big V had the softest hands to catch any pass or shoot the pull up 15 footer, but his elbow hook to spin on the post defender drove opposing coaches fits as it was seldom called.

During football season one year I went to a scrimmage at Hilton and Danny Manning was there. We went over an talked to him and he was really gracious. Amazing that he never won a game in Hilton!

One of my great memories was a night in grad school playing Missouri when Norm Stewart was still coach. He was trying to intimidate the officials, when a Latino referee walked away. Norm yelled at him, "Hey, taco bell, I'm not done with you!" Amazingly he didn't get a T. We (maybe we had a bit of antifreeze before the game) yelled back, "Hey Norm, no racial slurs. This is Iowa, the education state!" (Anthony Peelers family, I believe an Aunt and Uncle were two rows in front of us) Norm turned around with furrowed brow and looked at us, then winked! He was in complete control. Then he turned back and started yelling at the ref again.
Cyber
Don’t forget that Norm always complained about Big Vic traveling every time he did that hook shot.

"6-foot-10, Edwards has grown two inches since the summer and has seen his game and production steadily improve in the meantime. His travel coach, Curtis Wheeler, had high praise for his emerging big man. “He rebounds the ball, can make 3s, and is starting to figure out where he’s more effective on the offensive end,” he said. “He’s making the transition from prospect to player.”

He holds offers from Clemson, College of Charleston, Presbyterian, Texas A&M, VCU, Virginia Tech and Xavier.
Arkansas, Auburn, Charlotte, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, NC State, and South Carolina have also shown varying degrees of interest."

ISU in the top 11 for Kory Richardson. but not listed at the top 4 "working the hardest".

"According to 247Sports, Richardson is ranked as the No. 116 overall player in the Class of 2021 and the No. 11 ranked combo guard.
“I’m a facilitator, getting my teammates involved,” Richardson said. “When my teammates get going, I get going. I like playing defense, that’s my main focus right now. I’m a facilitator.”

Alex Fudge update. Early ISU priority prospect.
https://stockrisers.com/2020/04/07/...e-talks-his-recruitment-new-suitors-involved/
“Texas A&M, Texas, Georgia, Georgia Tech Wake Forest, VT and Iowa State and USC are amongst the schools on me right now,” Fudge told Stockrisers.com.
during this COVID-19 outbreak Fudge said he facetimed with the coaching staff of A&M as well as Texas and Iowa State. As far as his recruitment, it’s still open and he doesn’t have any plans to cut his list soon. “Iona reached out the other day and so did Arizona State,” he said.

“All schools see me as a versatile 3-4. Can come in and make an impact if I put in the hard work and dedication.”

Tallahassee Community College’s El Ellis had himself quite the season. Appeared in 33 games with TCC and averaged 14.5 points per game and shot the ball 45% from the field.
“Iowa State, NC State, Louisville, Wake Forest, UConn, ECU, New Mexico, Wichita State, Ole Miss,” are amongst those involved for Ellis.
Those with new interest include Florida State and Maryland. With everything going on, I expect schools to get a deeper look at Ellis and more offers will likely go out to him.

@jakeweingarten Tallahassee CC’s El Ellis just told @Stockrisers that he will have his virtual call with Nebraska’s Fred Hoiberg on Wednesday. They were involved early, not as heavily, but now will make push.
Virginia Tech and Marquette are the newest programs to get involved with Tallahassee CC’s El Ellis, he told @Stockrisers.
