Was actually just looking at job options up in Toronto, so maybe I will.

It’s not French Canada, but close enough. And you should do it. They have a different view of laws than Americans and I think you’re a person with a flexible mind who could make the change and maybe be better for it.

Yeah I’d take Jacobson for sure. We have any Mac Irving guys or have we ever had one? Chris Culvin maybe?

I hope the person who disliked your post has a sense of humor.
I fidn’t dislike it, but why do you think that disliking a bad joke means you don’t have a sense of humor?

Among other things, in that case ”T’aint” would be pronounced “taunt”. But maybe that was the joke, for a basketball player? Or maybe that person simply prefers humor that is a bit more...sophisticated.

Kansas Decommit and 4 star PG Prospect Markese Jacobson is now warm to Iowa State. Currently no offer. He is from Chicago and plays AAU for the Mac Irving Fire.

Intriguing. Nice catch.

Jacobs committed to Kansas very early in the process (last summer?) thus shouldn't have developed a lot of relationships with other schools compared to someone who has been recruited over the past year which could help ISU's cause. I haven;t seen much of Jacobson yet but I obviously trust the staff with evaluating guards and getting a top 100 player this late would round out the class nicely. Tandy is still the priority but I do like the idea of keeping the Chicago pipeline open.

I know KU fans were not that upset with his decommit due to leveling at a low top 100 prospect instead or progressing to a top 25 they are used to getting. Still it would add another intriguing plot line to our match ups.
Side benefit the meltdown on Illinois board to lose another instate recruit to Prohm would be fun to watch.

Any info on why the decommit? Just wondering.......

I think it was kind of mutual and the Kansas staff was honest with him about the prospects of immediate playing time.

Illinois is after him and they have Mac Irvin Fire connections but they also have 3 PG's on the roster (Trent Frazier, Ayo Dosunmo, and Andres Feliz) who are all likely going to be there and seeing playing time Jacobs' freshmen year. I see there were two immediate crystal ball switches to Depaul but there's not much out there on that. Don't think he's taken any visits yet.
