That would be impressive as one of the things I really liked about Matt's game that doesn't get talked about a lot was that he was a better than average rebounder from the 2 position.

From the time he got here. The game at BYU is remembered for Kane’s eye gouge and Melvin’s middle finger, and to a lesser extent Georges closing. but Matt was outstanding in that game.

OK, I take umbrage at that comment—I have watched numerous Harrison Ford films, and while he is a fine actor, I can tell that he isn’t very athletic!

Speaking of recruits once in Iowa, what ever happened to the kid (can’t recall his name) that moved to several schools/ thought we recruited him early in the process/ maybe ended up at Sunshine Academy(?). Anyone know who I’m thinking of and knows where he is today?

That guy seems like he would be a great THT replacement. No the ball handler Talen was but has a decent shot for his size.

How do we even know this? You’ve seen maybe 5 minutes of highlights. It amazes me that fans think their judgment is so solid.

It actually took me about twenty seconds of film to know this. And I may be exaggerating.

Someone mentioned Jerry Myles Jr. of Davenport. He is a freshman at Southeastern Community College, where he averaged like 4.8 ppg and started 4 games. I am sure he has a ton of rust on him having not played in a few years. Here is hoping he has gotten his life together. The kid had skills.I Here is an old article about him:

Graduated 2017 from Davenport North and had average HS numbers. Did a prep year 2017-18 at Quakerdale Prep. Spent this last 2018-19 season at SW Mississippi Community College. He’ll be a 4 for 3 juco that’s older than his peers due to the prep school year in 2017-18
