The Play that starts at 1:30 in the game highlights against Texas, is the type of plays that he needs to keep making to get the call up. He's proven he can score, hopefully continuously, at a high rate, but the way he will make the Celtics better is by being a guy who can make plays like that and play good, hard defense. Love to see Abdel putting up good numbers and continuing to improve.

Good for him. Hope he can contribute and get his chance in the bigs.

And bonus points to the OP for the good thread title. :)

Not sure how long they can keep him down if he keeps playing the way he is.

Really enjoyed watching him have the kind of year he had last year...if nothing else, he'll always be one of the most unpredictable players to run a fast break at ISU.

Nader could do things that no one else could do, incredible drives and dunks, but he could also be a disaster at times too. Go rewatch the KSU at ISU game from last year, Nader was a 1-man disaster who single handedly kept KSU in it for the first ~10 minutes of the ball game: missing open 3s, driving into traffic & turning it over, AWOL on defense. Godawful. But then other games he was transcendental, and when he was like that they were just about unbeatable.

Nader always reminded me of a quote from Harry Potter - "He did great things. Terrible! But great!"
