I think the other thing that hurt is we had layup potentials missed between Milan and Gilbert that ended up in layups for Iowa. That’s an 8 point swing just in those examples

We don't remotely resemble ourselves in this game at this building.

At some point, we have to play to our strengths. Most of these guys aren't scholarship ISU bball players. Even the ones that would be would be end of rotation spot guys at most. Except for freeman.

this is it. everyone is talking about Iowa's 3 point shooting, but it is their guards out quicking ours, it is opening things up for the Iowa offense. We look flat footed out there. Iowa is using a triangle defense on Gilbert, it has him flustered. Their strategy is to make everyone else beat them, but they are not going to let Keshon go off. So far it is working for them.

Sadly the guy part of that couple passed away to covid in 2020.
