Playing pretty poorly defensively. Their shooting clinic was a lot of wide open shots.

I agree but iowas defense doesn't require a whole lot of rhythm when you're Keshon Gilbert
I watch every single one of their games. I highly doubt others here dragging me do.
They are sitting ducks and practice dummies even in position. They have no rim protection. Keshon is the one guy with that ability we've needed. Keshon needs to take every opportunity to take it downhill until they stop it.
How many charges have they taken? How many shots have they blocked?
The presidents have 18 points on 9 shots.

This happens every time we go there in the last 10 years. It's flat out embarrassing.
If you don't show up to play EVERY game... you are not elite in any way.
So sick of this s**t... it was so predictable.
Why are we constantly doubling 30 ft from the basket and giving them wide open looks?? Just stupid. They have good shooters TJ! And offensively... we should have pounded it inside all night... that's where our advantage is.. and it would likely get Freeman in foul trouble.

On offense Iowa is daring us to shoot threes and collapsing on anyone that gets to the lane. We have to get to the lane, kick out, then get right back into the lane. We did that a few times and had open shots at the rim. Hitting some threes would help too.
Defensively, we have been late and lazy on some close outs. We’re also allowing way too much penetration to the lane.

Certainly possible, but even two years ago in that embarrassing loss, ISU out scored Iowa in the second half
At the game. This crowd is pathetic. It is insane how lethargic we look. The view from the stands is they have had several last second panic buckets that have gone down.
They won't let us play aggressive. It's the halftime changearoo that happens whenever we do something different.
Sped up is a good way of explaining it. We haven't been smooth. We had a few side open shots that should start falling.
We can't let one mistake/miss become 2-3 positives for Iowa. Lock in and get them frustrated/sloppy. And drive and score (and of course make FTs)
I mean the easiest example is the out of bounds call that was clearly off of them that they ran in to wrongly change
If Tamin legitimately isn’t going to be a threat to score we really need to play a large amount of Curtis and keshon
