Exactly. I wrote this earlier in the thread before the game. You could tell during the pregame that CBS just does it way better than ESPN. Even on CBSSN, just high quality and no favoritism, just straight up excellent college basketball coverage. All you need to do is look at who CBS puts in the studio vs ESPN. CBS puts in a good balance of folks who straight up know the game of basketball. ESPN just puts in blue blood graduates who create controversy and pump up the big brands.
I'm going to bed but I haven't heard them mention Kentucky, Duke, or North Carolina... ESPN would've done 3 segments already on Cooper Flagg

Always you losers that can never enjoy a postgame win.
Lmao. So it's ok to not enjoy the game during the game... but heaven forbid someone is negative AFTER the game.

Heck of a double standard. Be well.

Seeing how fairly Iowa State was treated by the CBSSN announcers and studio just reaffirms my hatred of how ESECPN treats us poorly in as many ways as they possibly can.
ESPN is all in on the SEC, if you are a major college team not in the SEC, or a blue blood like UNC, Duke or UCONN, they could care less about you. Its not going to change going forward, and thats why its important for the B12 to split off its BB from football in the next round of media talks. With the strength of the league, some media company is going to pay serious cash for the rights to broadcast games from the league.

150th meeting between us?
Currently ISU 80-CU 70

I wouldn't have guessed that many times or that ISU would have the edge tbh.

I remember even Pratt and that crew got absolutely wrecked there once.

Parsing out basketball should allow it to generate more than now, but unlikely to be “serious cash”

Big 12 basketball is elite on average, but in the KenPom way. It isn’t that elite in terms of TV ratings. Unfortunately the P2 and ACC draw as well or better

I have been tuned into this show for a few years for basketball. Do yourselves a favor and watch the CBS Inside College Football show next season. Same deal there. Just a way better and unbiased product that gives way more insight than the ESPN crap. I really hope CBS muscles out ESPN in the next round of contracts.
ESPN is legit so much worse than the other networks in both production quality and content.

I wish there was a way to type over your sentence to create the feeling of listening to ESPN studio folks talk over one another about their 4 hour 'analysis' of NFL games.

I am sick of hearing about how great Cooper Flagg is. If he is playing for Oklahoma State, he wouldn’t receive any attention from the media

Maybe I am misremembering, but Trae Young got a ton of attention on a slightly above average Oklahoma team.

Having Milan in at end of games seemed a no brainer. Then TJ went with Jefferson at the 5, Heise and the 3-headed guard monster vs Marquette. Tonight Chatfield is in at the end.
This team has so many options.
There was even a (very short) stretch with Milan, Heise and the guards!

I don't know what they paid for LeBryan Nash but the media was pretty light on their coverage of him.

Good pull. Georges and him doing that duo post-game, I think in Norman? That was pure respect.
