Not sure which teams are going to pay top dollar for a receiver who's injured a lot, can't get separation, drops occasional touchdown passes, and starts a fight with his kicker during the game.

Sad to see it happen, but the 49ers will be better off in the long run.

I would guess the 49ers are going to pay most of his salary in exchange for a 4th round or later draft pick.

I don’t think the NFL really works that way. He will have a dead cap hit, but any future earnings are payed by the team acquiring him.

If the 49ers do take on the salary, that raises the value of pick they will get significantly.

Agree 100%. This shows how important O-line is. Poor O-line can make a hall of fame QB looks like a rookie

I’m not going to go that easy on him. His line completely sucked. But that first pick was mostly on Mahomes and cost them 7 points. The second pick, I’ll give him a little grace cause he was in the end zone and getting hit. He had some other real bad throws though that easily could have been picked. If you’re the GOAT, you have to be better than he was yesterday.

And the Chiefs crew here was melting down nicely in the 2025 NFL thread last night, if you want some light reading. Some truly outlandish posts.
