Something really feels off about his mechanics the latter half of this year. Having to constantly dance around defensive players hasn't helped, but his deep throws down the sidelines have been lacking.

I think he has an undisclosed lower back injury that’s been lingering since before the bye week, and his shoulder injury is worse than they’ve let on. He had more zip than ever during the early portion of the year.

As long as Purdy gets paid, thats all that matters. He'll get dragged tomorrow for his play, but if he's more injured than the Niner staff is letting on, they'll put their trust in him next year.

Purdy is the least of the 49ers worries right now. Something is going on with that staff.

The defense has real issues. Offense has too much overpaid dead weight. Aiyuk is way overrated. CMC is constantly injured with massive salary. Bosa is overrated and overpaid. Fred Warner too. And some say get rid of Purdy because he isn’t a Top 5 QB so get rid of him. For what ? An overpaid former #1 like Trevor Lawrence? Or a Cousins or a Prescott that never wins playoff games? The problem is that the team around Purdy is overpaid and overrated. Add in injuries. And a terrible kicker in Jake Moody. He sucks. Purdy is a decent QB. His crime is that he is not Pat Mahomes or Josh Allen.
