Nebraska and Louisville to start with. Oregon only being 4th with Nike/Phil Knight in their pocket? I would have thought UT would be higher. Also surprised to not see Arkansas in the top 10
Louisville has all that Papa John's and KFC money. Missouri is the surprise one for me.

Looking forward to LSU USC. I think Brian Kelly can fix his defensive issues, not so sure about Lincoln Riley.

LSU will smoke them. Brian Kelly is a turd, but he's 20x the coach Riley is.

FSU out of AP top 25 (non-surprisingly). It's only the third time since poll expanded to 25 teams in 1989 that a team dropped from top 10 in preseason to unranked in first in-season week of voting. (AP's roundup doesn't say which are the other 2).

Rulzzz is correct w/ the link about top 10 teams starting 0-2 and dropping out, but you're correct for teams dropping after 1 loss.

In the past 35 years, the other preseason top-10 teams to fall out of the Top 25 after Week 1 were Michigan in 2007 after losing to Appalachian State as No. 5. In 2008, Clemson was No. 9 but opened with a blowout loss to Alabama and tumbled out of the rankings.
