He's at the point where you have to stick him on the IL until he figures something out. Alec Mills is a much better option right now.

We are better off letting a prospect come up and get innings.
LOL and who would that be because we don't exactly have a ton of MLB ready starting pitchers in the pipeline at the moment.

Was thinking about this the other day but what has happened with Ian Happ? Looks more like he did in 2019 when he got sent down to Iowa for awhile than he does from last year. This is another guy I wonder if he will wind up like Schwarber where the Cubs did not cash in on a trade when his value was high and instead winds up being another guy that never develops into the player they had hoped for and walks for nothing.

One ******* hit through 8 with 10 strikeouts. It's sad that we have got to the point where its a feast or famine offense because this team is built around the long ball. It's fun as hell when the wind is blowing out and this team hits some monster homer then pathetic as hell when you get a good pitcher who can hit his spots and make this lineup look like fools swinging at garbage pitches.

I don't know if Braves have a tip on Hendricks or what but they hammer him.

It was a nice run of offense they had for a week or so there but now it's back to looking like they've never played baseball before.

Hendricks has given up 9 home runs in his last 3 starts. If thst isn't some sort of record it has to be pretty close.

Something seems a bit off with him which is strange because he usually locates his pitches well and plays to soft contact. Last year he gave up a total of 10 HR over 12 games and he's already at that after just 5. He shouldn't have to be the ace on a good team, he's more of a #3 guy on a good rotation but he's the ace by default in a rotation full of guys that should be #4 or #5 starters at best.

The only positive thing coming out of this rough stretch is that Bryant is hitting so will hopefully give him some more trade value when they are ready to sell off in July. I don't see how they don't sell off based on what we have seen so far, this team is not going to compete if they somehow can back their way into the playoffs.

Here's the full at bat from last night. Gotta love this, just 2 guys with a lot of respect for each other smiling the whole at bat then both get a good laugh out of Freeman striking out. These are the kind of moments that make baseball fun. Granted I hate seeing us resort to position players to finish a blowout game but if it gets to that you have to have some fun when you do.
