ESPN had one of their saber nerds in the booth this summer talking about how the numbers just don't support his HOF argument. I just sat there thinking "how could a guy that covers baseball for a living be this ignorant about the game." I told my son again today (for about the 50th time) "enjoy watching this guy play. He's special."

Flaherty, has only give up 11 runs the whole second half of the season, he struggled in the first, got through it and is now locked in.
