It was a throw to first where he barely even turned around.
Missed the guy by about a billionth of a second, but it was awesome.
Pre-replay, dude was out.
Would have been one of his better defensive highlights in his career if it didn't get overturned. Diving backhand in the hole
As an infielder I believe but then still played quite a bit of OF in minor leagues. I'd be all for getting Caratini some more starts behind the plate and utilizing Contreras around the diamond a little more
I'm all for Joe mixing things up. The guys have fun playing when they get to do something different once in a while. When they are having fun, they play loose and they do things like score 6 runs in the next 4 innings after getting down 7-0.

That just felt like a game we were going to win the whole time. Damn. Sadly I was more confident in Chatwood up to bat than I was Russell. Dude sucks
Wasn’t able to watch or listen, but I turned on the radio right after Chatwood got his double. Why was he batting there? We’re we out of pinch hitters or what scenario was going on.
The nature of a lot of the losses has been pretty good since that initial skid. Mostly razor close games or comebacks to make the games close. Not on the receiving end of many start to finish beat downs.
