Brewers with an off day tomorrow before 3 in Washington. Cubs have struggled with the Sox through the years, but I fully expect the Cubs to at least be a 1/2 - 1 1/2 games ahead in the Division by the weekend.

I don't know who the Pirates have this week but it's not unrealistic to potentially see the Cubs with a 3-4 game lead in the division come next Sunday.

Rizzo has an OPS of .385 over the last seven days and the Cubs are 5-1. That's a very good sign. They've been getting contributions from all over the lineup and now they get the full starting rotation back with Hendricks going today.

Two day games in a row! Gives me something to listen to at work!

Cubs are now 24-18 vs the Central, which is the best record in the group. The only team in the Central they have a losing record against is the Pirates.

Daughter and I watching this game, and I'm a little bothered.

I turned to ask her if they would pitch around Javy with the pitcher coming up, and they did it in the time it took me to turn my head.

Forgot the new, speedy intentional walk.

Great RBI for Hendricks!

I forgot Rick Renteria managed the Sox. Surprised he is leaving Gonzalez in here...hopefully we can make him pay.

Ugh that was close. Blew a great opportunity there. Hopefully we get the Sux's pen from here out.
