Ok, even if you add in his overall coaching percentage it is still only 52%. I figured "basketball schools" would have higher standards.
If you don't know why Johnny has a statue at ISU then I gave you more credit than you deserved
He was very charismatic, well respected and a good coach. But to build a statue for the guy is a bit much for a basketball school.
First part was a joke about ISU fans being happy they won the second half of a football game a few years ago. I do agree that ISU fans need to be patient with Campbell as it is harder to turn around a football program than other athletic programs.
So Orr basically won 1 out of every five road games over his career? Ouch if so.
King went from being a 2 star recruit to winning a national award and being an NFL draft pick. Iowa sure does know how to develop players.

I take it Robert Gallery and Brandon Scherff are selectively removed from your accepted reality correct? They both could have left early and didn't and then became national award winners and first round draft picks.

Since you want to talk football in a baseball thread, how many NFL drafts do you have to go back to get the last 4 ISU football players drafted? Iowa just had 4 baseball players picked in one draft.

Keep ignoring Gallery and Scherff. Someday isu should develop players so they can be first round draft picks and national award winners.

Did CMC have a recruit that is such an awesome athlete that they were drafted by a MLB team? KF must really know how to evaluate talent in addition to developing it.

Thats why I said you can go back through multiple NFL drafts to get to 4 ISU players drafted.
40 rounds in the MLB draft and 7 in football.
