I see this going similar to the womens game except for I think we will at least show effort and hustle.
I could see iowa having an abnormal amount of 3's, flying all over the place and us not shooting well.
But who knows...Would love to be wrong!

I'd love to see another offensive plan like we had against SJ. Only took 13 threes, and were relentless getting into the paint. If we start chucking jump shots we'll be in trouble, but I think TJ has this team disciplined enough that won't happen
I agree that our guys can do some work inside.

He's not scary imo.

It's someone else going off that will be a problem.
Yeah, Idc if he plays. If he doesn't, Iowa fans get to ***** and make excuses about why they lost, even though we will be without a player too. But agree with your first point, Kris isn't scary. It is my belief that this game should go almost exactly like it did a year ago. But with the game being played in Iowa City, there is a bit of an equalizing factor. They say defense travels, but I expect the refs to have a quick whistle tonight. I hope and trust that TJ has game planned for this possibility. Refs called a lot of fouls on Iowa State in the 1H of the UCONN game and it got ugly quickly. A little too big of a hole to dig out of, even if the refs didn't call as much in the 2H. I have seen it play out against Iowa in recent years, where if you let them get off to a hot start, they make it ugly for the opposing team. They did that to us in '20 and '18.

Yep - Osun and Jones should be able to dominate Rebraca tonight.

Had to take the points. Can only watch the first half probably. Damn kids and their activities!

Should be able to. He is better this year though. His rebounding numbers have especially improved. I am worried he is going to get some easy putbacks tonight. Averaging 3.0 ORPG, and I feel like we've been susceptible to giving up offensive boards.

We were better vs SJU, but pretty awful out in Portland I think.

I used to fret about this game so much and want to win so badly. But living out of Iowa for 15+ years I just don't have the anxiety I used to. Still want to beat them every game, obviously, but if we lose I won't sit and stew on it for a couple of days like I used to.

We can win. They can win. Rivalries are weird.

Head says Iowa wins by 7
Heart says Iowa State shuts them down and turns them over and wins by 10
