Only if our defense falters. We can beat KU without Wigginton and Lard playing that much and THT not shooting well.

That’s the great thing about having a deep team that plays defense is that our margin for error is high. Guys can have funks on offense and our chances for winning remain high.

Yeah, and our scoring defense has been remarkably consistent, with the only real outlier the horrendous debacle over at Iowa. Other than giving up 98 there, we've held everyone else to 73 and under.

I haven't seen Baylor play at all this year, but it looks like they're quite turnover prone. Would be great to see another 20+ TO game from an opponent. Our guys hands, especially Haliburton and THT, are so good.

I was curious about last year's win vs. Baylor (home on 1/13; 75-65) so I did some checking (slow afternoon). Wiggy had 30 pts in 39 minutes. NWB had 15 and 10 assists. Lard had 11 pts and 9 boards; Solo had 11 pts and 12 boards.

Brase and Beverly scored a combined 5 pts in that one :)

I'd expect to see a major uptick in Lards minutes tonight. Baylor is horrible at shooting the three so you've got to protect the point. Keep Lard in there to protect the paint and block/alter shots.

That being said, Jacobsen has one of the prettiest mid range jumpers. Get him in the middle of that zone for a 15 foot jumper. Perhaps we see Jacobsen and Lard in there at the same time tonight.

Is ESPNEWS on any of the streaming services? I have sling.

It's only in the sports package (that you can add/remove at any point for $10, and it's prorated). I usually add that on in November and drop it March. Gives you ESPNU, and like 20 other sports channels, too.

looking forward to the game.....I often look at the game time on the ESPN website and it shows tickets available and pricing......there are 122 available as low as $2. Sad how many Big 12 teams play in front of a morgue (ie Baylor, OSU, OU, etc).....yet get big time recruits.

Regardless, **** Baylor.

Sitting in standstill traffic on the beltway. 14 mile drive is estimated to arrive in an hour. Hopefully we’re up by 20 at that point.
