ISU is now guaranteed to finish the season with single digit losses for their final record. That’s an impressive feat when you play 30+ games in the best conference. I’m too lazy to look it up, but I wonder how many times we have finished a season with single digit losses.

Bingo! I mean we still won and that play is all I can think about. Because BRE should have pulled that back out and got it to a free throw shooter, but he decides to go up for it. He makes it and is fouled clearly in the act of shooting. And he is completely jobbed on senior night.

That was easily one of the worst calls I’ve seen this year anywhere.
That needs to be explained.

Hats of to the BYU team man. They went cold from 3 down the stretch and a couple more shots here and there would have sealed it for them. Their team plays super hard, they never stop moving without the ball, they are tough on def. I hope we don't see them again this year in the B12 tourneyment. We beat a good team tonight.
Agreed. But at what point is it our defense wearing them out mentally, then physically

This team has a definite attitude…i just hope the crystal ball doesn’t shatter due to the horrendous offense. They just leave me shaking my head each time they win after being so poor offensively. But yet they keep finding a way. Tonight there had to have been a witch in the crowd that hexed the BYU shooters.

So, 6.

Edit note: I should find a way to be paid for these things.

I have no doubt that Tamin is physically sore, but a lot of his bad play lately just looks mental and like he's stuck in between. Hopefully he can snap out of it, as early as tonight.
Yeah Tamin, there you go buddy! I feel like tonight's win was big in multiple ways. #1 a win #2 a good metrics win #3 the big deficit seemed to force Tamin and the boys to bust out of their offensive slump

Re: Metrics

We closed the gap between us and Houston on defensive efficiency at KenPom, but stayed at number 2.

We slid to 69th on offensive efficiency.

We dropped 1 spot to 11th in KP

That’s what happens when you play a defense like ours, they wear you out. Getting tired during a game against a D like ISU is underrated. It’s constant pressure with no time to rest. They blew all their timeouts too.
