8-1 in our last 9 games. The loss was on the road to the #1 team in the country.

I know we pick at these guys for making offense look hard at times. But you cannot argue with the results.

Not with that attitude.

I was curious why Khalifa didn't play more at crunch time late in the 2nd half. Did BYU 'over-coach' & not have him out there for some reason? He was a huge problem the first 3/4 of the game, especially with his passing. Or if he was in foul trouble, which I've no clue

They can't (or don't) play Traore and Khalifa at the same time and they were going with Traore for his strength and rebounding, I guess. It was odd, but great for us, because Khalifa just killed us in both games

I will admit I was in the camp. I was hoping for 11-7 at the optimistic end of the scale. And I will gladly eat crow.

C Jones is quickly becoming one of our best players. Gilbert, Jones, and Lipsey could be the best back court in the country if they all come back next year.

C Jones is my fav player on the team right now. So improved over the course of the season. Just an absolute terror on def, just like Lipsey and Gilbert. Please come back next year Jones!!

Also the play where CuJo blocked an easy layup. We got unlucky several times tonight and without those hustle plays, might be a different outcome.

We shall see what happens at K State, but can we all take a moment to appreciate what this team has done after the loss at Houston? We said we needed to win out from there and perhaps we can get a share of the title. Well, we’ve set ourselves up to do that, which is pretty cool no matter what happens.

That's not going to happen. Anyone talking about that I think is more just saying if we lose early it may be for the best. No way these guys aren't giving 100% in a game.

Hats of to the BYU team man. They went cold from 3 down the stretch and a couple more shots here and there would have sealed it for them. Their team plays super hard, they never stop moving without the ball, they are tough on def. I hope we don't see them again this year in the B12 tourneyment. We beat a good team tonight.

They really had most of their success from three in a small window in the first half. BYU hit 6 out of their last 8 to close the first half and only made 8 for the game. The back door plays are what torched us.

On my way home. I wanted to ask someone watching on tv...we could have sworn tall wide and clumsy (50) had 4 fouls. We thought he was called for an offensive foul for his second foul, but then a little bit later he was called for his second foul at the other end. Did someone else get that offensive foul?
