It was SO obvious! I was on my feet yelling at my TV... not sure how they missed it? Then he hit the 3 I think right after he double dribbled. I need to see a replay of that double dribble.

Anyway... they beat us by 24 points on just 3 pointers tonight alone... that will beat anyone folks... gotta be better than that!

I think a couple of their guys hitting generally don't do that. Contrastly, Lipsey's usually good for two-three and Cujo couldn't get right.

Tesms that can guard disrupt the perimeter are going to be an issue for ISU with or without Milan.

Me too screaming at tv. Startled my dog! I rewound it several times to make sure what I saw. Not the reason we lost but c’mon refs!

I didn’t see that Tennessee lost but at least Duke, Alabama and Florida will probably pass us as it stands right now
We beat Kansas by 17, Alabama and Florida lost this week also. We will see but more teams in the top 10 lost this week than did not.

Maybe if you didn't come on here every single game and attack any criticism of refs you wouldnt have people pushing back when you attack anyone who criticize the refs
Hey man, I thought the refs missed some calls, for sure. Happens every game. Same with the Kansas game, same with the Texas Tech game.

Every game and even separate threads complain and blame losses or close wins on the refs. Doesn’t matter if it’s 30 pages, 50 pages, 70 pages, every single thread had of it is complaining about the refs. It’s so annoying when you go the thread to actually talk about the game and what os happening and it’s ref talk.

It’s also the same posters. Probably never played a minute of competitive sports in their life.

I made a simple post about us not playing well today and that it wasn’t the refs fault and now I have more quote notifications telling me I’m dumb than I have ever seen before.

View attachment 141334 I’m afraid it wasn’t officiating, fellas. 1-17 from 3. 19 to 2 fast break points. 14 to 4 steals. Officiating was far from the cause of the loss. Iowa state was just as, if not, more physical than WVU. Looks like fouls were called pretty fairly to me.
Being physical and straight up grabbing players' arms all game are two different things. We're physical, but we don't just grab. WVU grabbed. All game. It was blatant, and the stripes refused to do anything about it, so they kept doing more and more until we had zero freedom of movement. Including outside the 3 point line.

A game where a couple Milan 3s would have certainly helped. Poor shooting and even poorer officiating. Move on.

Seriously. We shot 7 fts. 7. **** off with that crap that the officiating was even.

They missed a blatant shot clock violation. They were ******* incompetent.

Our offense sucked. But so did the officiating. Both contributed to this loss.

Adding to that, we shot 7fts to their 14, despite the fact that they took 10 more 3 point shots than us. If there's an imbalance in FTs, usually its the team shooting more 3s that's not shooting FTs because they're not taking it inside to get the calls.

Can't let WVU lose on Jerry West Night!

Do you know what would mitigate that?

Maybe this was the loss we needed to wake up. It seemed like the past 3-4 games we were not great but pulled it off (Kansas game we were not great and had horrible turnovers). Let’s see how we bounce back after this god awful performance.

Even an average three point game from Cujo, Gilbert or Lipsey changes it.

WV wanted this one bad too.

Bingo.

I've played in games like this in high school. Coach just said after the game, let's get the **** out of here and we will deal with it in practice.
