I thought we played pretty well today actually, especially the 2nd half. Just couldn't make a shot and TCU got hot at the right time. Couple that with the refs calling EVERYTHING on Iowa State and nothing on TCU the last 10 minutes. Tucker and Wiggnton got to the basket like 15 times today with maybe 1 foul called. How is that possible? Lard had his typical 3 B.S. anticipation fouls too.

Difference between the teams is TCU plays and looks for a rhythm and is patient and ISU...doesn't do that.

One day I'll understand the Steve Prohm is a good in game coach talk. Because he has no set plays, doesn't call time outs to stop runs, plays the wrong players most of the time, and takes way too long to make adjustments. Good at the other aspects, sure, but horrific in game. It always feels like we underachieve any more

But man he gets his teams to “max out” at the right time..

Is there a reason Babb played the entire game? I understand he's a good piece on this team but was he really playing well enough to get 40 mins?

Really need to decide on Halliburton or Babb, can’t play 4 guards and play defense the way they do as a team and have two guys that aren’t a threat offensively. We really getting beat badly at that point guard position for the last month. Has to be one or the other, just to limiting on both ends playing them both for long stretches together.

We apparently have zero versatility on offense. It’s ridiculous.

Yep if threes don't work might as well call it a game. 4 guards work so well when no one can make anything.

We're worn out, no leaders, therefore have given up. End of season.
They didn’t sweat enough for you?

We didn’t give up. We lost a close game on the road while shooting very poorly on 3Ps and getting road treatment from the officials. Isolated to today, not a big deal.

The ball screen defense and offensive rebounds given up continue to be problems. Prohm needs to figure out how to teach these guys to do better in that regard.

may be a good time for a losing streak. Get them re-focused before the games matter again.

People blaming the refs in every single ISU loss is ******* annoying.

I feel the exact same way. This was much better than the Baylor game. Just couldn’t make a shot, loose balls seemed to go their way, and the FT discrepancy was bad. The touch fouls inside just weren’t called consistently at all. I realize Lard has problems going straight up, but no way their two inside players had just two fouls combined if they call it the same way.

Gotta love how Prohm chooses to play a small lineup all game long.... and then complains after we lose game after game that we're too small and that's why we can't rebound and defend.
