As poor as the players played that second half, that loss hangs squarely on the coaching staff. Made zero scheme changes to stop the dribble penetration and just let them get balls deep in us for 25 straight minutes. I understand there’s a strategy to not yelling at the refs, but how long can you just watch them call foul after foul after foul and take it laying down. Just 1 game, but man…

An excellent gut check against what is, by far, the best last place team in the country. This will pay dividends during the February run on days when the team is more rested.
Loll, this was a repeat of OSU game, they have learnt nothing.

The fact that TJ couldn’t figure out that he needed to match some bounce and energy with king and Watson is maddening. Those guys sat for so long. Why? The 4 guards was not the best lineup tonight.

We played poorly, that might have something to do with taking our foot off that gas, but the officials ****** us badly tonight. We didn't have to let it affect us, but this was a real raw screwing.

They were screwing ISU hard in first half too, just hitting 3s I’d the way to neutralize that.

There was a sequence where they missed a crazy obvious charge on tech. Then a play later they just give tech a free point for no reason.

ISU got lazy on D and rebounding and Tech started getting a rhythm.
That may be true. OR, maybe the refs started giving us a foul EVERY TIME WE PLAYED D, so we backed off and they still gave us the fouls. The officials affected this game 100%.

The inability to stop dribble drives in the last couple games is flat out alarming. Harmon absolutely owned Lipsey and Holmes is simply not quick enough. I appreciate the “aggressive” nature of our defense but it is absolutely allowing teams to mount these comebacks. Teams are in the bonus by the 13:00 minute mark of the 2H and now you have constant clock stoppage allowing teams to score at the line. Just an absolute meltdown on the offensive side of the floor. Tamin has to look to score. He cannot refuse to shoot a 15 foot jumper. He screws up the spacing. And this team simply didn’t look poised in the last 10 minutes. The shot selection by Grill in OT..not great. You can get better looks.

No **** we had more fouls, when you give up penetration on every possession that's what happens. How can any fan of ISU not know that? It was a staple of Prohm's regime. It's not some grand conspiracy it's basketball 101.

Lol, you have it exactly backwards. Theyre able to do that because they know they'll get a whistle every ******* time before any contact even occurs.

TJ needed to get T’d up sometime during the second half to prove a point. Even Hoiberg would do that if things got bad enough.
