I think Billy will try to get one early to quite the crowd and it won't work!!!

It won't quiet me and I don't believe he does it to get us quiet; he does it to "work" the refs because, in a close game down to the wire, he needs to "work" them more and knows they don't have the balls to T him up twice and get an ejection.

kinda smart on his part, actually.

The real question is how long it will take the refs to realize he wants the T. It was a joke to see what they let him get away with last year before they finally T'd him up.

If KU gets down by 7+, then guaranteed tech for Self. If it is a close game the whole way, then maybe not. He's smart enough to not want to give ISU two extra FTs and maybe the ball as well.

80% chance he gets a T in the first 2 minutes.

99.9% chance he gets a T in the game.

0% chance he gets two Ts.

Sometimes he gets a T when less than 7 points have been scored in the entire game. If you can have a fixed game at will why not get 39 minutes of a fix?

Self got 2 technical's against ISU last year (pretty sure his only 2 T's of the season). I remember hearing that the guy is rarely t'd up, but I don't know that for fact.

Also, Self would not get a technical to try and quiet the crowd. No one is dumb enough to think that would work (well except for Fran). He did it last year to try and control the refs.

BS will not have any impact on this game tonight and won't be getting T'd up.
My prediction. Just talked to my Vegas bookie. :twitcy:

Agreed... See Kansas vs. Oklahoma game last Wednesday. It worked then, I am sure Self will try it again.

He won't get one. He has only done that once and I don't see him doing it again.
