Nice to be back on the win column again! I thought this was a pretty solid game from our team against a team playing as well as any in the Big12. Our guys were very focused and doing all the right things to win this game. Great job all around.

Her come my observations from tonight's game. Let me know what I missed. Poll on its way.

The annoying kid behind the scorer's table who couldn't stop laughing. I think he was a Texas fan.

Didn't read the entire game thread, was that curly haired girl with straighter hair they kept showing with glasses? Maybe she is good luck?

1. Deonte's offense is getting more under control; just shows what getting more run can do. The man has serious skills.

2. How the F does Javan Felix torch us so bad? Hey, when he drives into the middle of the lane I bet he's going to do a spin move.

3. Ashton/Cooke minute discrepancy continues to confuse me. Cooke did have that one bad foul on the Taylor 3,

4. Nader's up and down play continues. Hasn't scored 10+ in two straight games for nearly a month.

5.. Niang!!!!

Agree on Burton being a cog in the "end of game" machine. His defense is improving and he can finish stronger than most. Nader has been a liability in these areas lately and McKay can really only reliably finish on a dunk.

We've got to get Matt more shots. He's shooting with so much confidence.

With regard to Nader's foul at the end of the half, can somebody explain to me why Mckat is hedging up to the ft line with short time left rather than camping out under the rim as an eraser? Sorry if this is too serious for a truly great post game thread but this is driving me nuts. McKat seems to be helping up way too much for my simple mind. Thoughts to prove me stupid are welcome.

Don't know if the cameras caught it, but near the end, Georges was standing in front of the UT bench, waiting to inbound the ball, and Shaka came over to him, shared a couple of friendly looking comments, slapped him on the *** and walked away. Interesting. Odd, but interesting.
