Can't stand him, that is all.
I cant stand the entire organization. Love how their fans constantly rip on the Cubs lack of World Series and success. Its like to kid with no arms making fun of the kid with no legs.
I don't know of any Brewers fan who brings up the fact that they haven't won a World Series, what would the point of that be. But ripping on their lack of success? I guess count us in with the rest of the known universe.
Nyjer Morgan 8-1-11 interview. Funny stuff‏ - YouTube
The Cubs have had far more success than the Brewers have
and the Cubs have been in existence for over 100 years
Any time I see this dude on tv, I think immediately think he is on drugs.
His attitude is beyond ****** too, like a ******* 5 year old.
p.s. this is not a cubs v. brewers thing at all. much respect for the solid season they are putting together. Braun is a stud.
The Brewers have made the playoffs twice in their existence. The Cubs have done it 6 times since I have been alive. Neither is anything to brag about, but Brewer fans are far out of their league when they try to rip on Cub fans.
Before this becomes a cubs/brewers hatred thread...
Why do you hate Nyjer Morgan? Do you hate him because he plays hard? Do you hate him because he actually has a personality and is willing to let it be seen?
Do you hate him because he is hitting .324 this season?
I am just curious how a Braves fan can hate Nyjer Morgan this year?
I think he is cool.
He is definitely the annoying, Juan Pierre/Michael Bourn type of player.
First off it has nothing to do with him as a PLAYER and hate is a very strong word my friend, that is why I didn't use it. He is really talented and has a bright future if he would quit being a little *****.

This is plain stupidity. He stole 2nd, then 3rd in a game that wasn't even close. Then he gets ****** when a pitcher throws behind is back? It's not like he threw at his head!

Plus his interviews drive me crazy.
So your dislike for him is because of what he has done in the past, plus his interviews...
Alright, I will give you his past, he wasn't the cleanest player. He took a couple of guys out at the plate. But you know, the guy goes all out and is constantly going at full speed.
His interviews, yes they may be funny, but I don't care. As long as he is doing well on the field and not making the team look bad off the field, you can't ask for much more.
So I respect that you don't like him but I think that sports would be much better if you had a bunch of people who play like he does for the Brewers (not his previous stops).
I hate Zack Greinke of that organization. Treated KC like **** when we gave him a second chance. Him and Morgan are both psycho....
Nobody is really noticing, but Greinke is one of the best pitchers in baseball right now.
I do have to admit, this is pretty funny!

I would strongly contend that there are players on EVERY ball club whom opposing fans deem (fill in negative adjective here). When they play for your team, however, they are "tough as nails competitors" and "passionate" about their job. This is a message board - so I welcome opposing viewpoints, BUT those who cry about Morgan, don't act as if your ballclub doesn't have players who do/have done similar things.
That's a pretty high ERA for being one of the best pitchers in baseball. His K/9 is good but that's about all that jumps off the page to me.
HR/9 also jumps off the page.
True, but his ERA for July was 2.27 and had a good outing last night against the Cardinals (3.00 ERA). If he continues in this pattern for the remainder of the season, I'll gladly take that!

Unfortunately he has been giving up at least one per outing this season. Other than those gafs though he has had a stellar season. I think that he most important statistic is the fact that I think that the team is 12-5 in his starts.
Winning is all that matters. Last night he gave up a home run in the first and still had a great outing.
