Good to hear about Daniels. That's refreshing to see a QB embrace a position change.

Richardson has deceptive speed. And absolutely great fakes and reads. Looks good.

Daniels looks to be the next Marvin McNutt. Size and athleticism at WR is a very good thing. And his request for a position change indicates that Sam Richardson definitely showed that promise during the first few days of camp and Daniels knew that he would not see the field as a QB. Good for Daniels.

Man, once Steele graduates it will sure be nice to have SR as a 3 year starter - assuming all goes to plan.

And a VERY smart move by JQ. Phil Bates could've been a stud WR here and I think Daniels will be.

I am sure Barnett and Rohach will be working hard to change that scenario. And that is what I want. May the best QB win.

I like recruiting QB's in hopes of landing a great one and letting the rest sort out through position changes. QB's are typically the best athletes on the team, and smartest.

I don't know about best "athletes" but they are the smartest and can adapt to any position well.

Does he want a shot at QB? I thought the plan was to move him over to safety?

He said that he is willing to play Safety if it gets him on the field. But like Daniels he'll get his shot at QB. I mentioned him because I think people here have already discounted him at QB because of Rohach.

In my opinion, we will most likley see Jantz as the starter for the next two years and then Sam Richardson as the starter for the next three years after that. The future is bright! Go Cyclones!!!

I'm excited to have Hermans recruited QBs in here. Feels good that we have QBs coming in that actually know how to run a spread offense.

I also applaud Daniels decision. I think next year when Jantz, Barnett, Richardson, Rohach and Knott are on campus the coaches will start to feel the QB depth is close to where they want it. I have seen a lot of bright spots in the freshman recruiting class. I am pulling for all of them.
