I have a friend in Texas (from Oklahoma) who is a huge OU fan. He’s always talking trash about Texas and Oklahoma State, but won’t about ISU.

He tells me that Oklahoma fans respect ISU because they beat OU—then proved it wasn’t a fluke. He says ISU is the biggest conference threat to OU going forward, not the other two schools.

He's not wrong, but it's easier to respect someone when they're not your rival. I can only imagine what it's like to have your two biggest rivals in-conference.

I am finding that joining most sites is an email grab that they sell and promote. And, then half the articles are so called premium that you have to pay extra. ESPN, for example.
