Not a LeBatard fan myself. I'd much rather hear about analytics and matchups and strategy. Georges was great as always though.

So what sports show do you listen to? I don't know of any that do that well. I'd just as soon listen to jackassery then someone who takes themselves too seriously and have ****** takes.

Welp, I just learned that I need to cut omelets out of my diet. Guess I will be sticking to my fruity pebbles then.

Some of you don't seem to see the perspective Lebatard is trying to bring to sports. If you ever catch one of his monologues, the entire premise of his show is to highlight or showcase the human side of sports. A lot of times people take sports/athletes/games way too seriously to the point they lose the humanity in it.

If you look at the Georges interview specifically, he is trying to personalize, show the human side of the athlete. He asks them questions that give the interviewee an opportunity to showcase their personality and how they fit into the sports landscape.

The bad/uncomfortable interviews he does are when they catch an athlete/coach that sticks to cliche responses and is just there because there publicist booked it. Its why you will never see certain high profile athletes on the show.

It's an entirely different take on sports, one focused on the humanity of it, the actual people, emotions, life. I really enjoy it and I think its the main reason it has such a high profile spot on ESPN, they are the only ones doing sports in this manner.
