Don't know what the Gazette plans on doing but I do know two things. 1) That's a fine publication and they will find a way to cover Iowa State. With Iowa State's popularity in the state, they simply have to. 2) We will have twice as much coverage here so in reality, you never really need to leave this site.

Wow!! He did a great job at the gazette and it's exciting he'll be here.

It it probably doesn't get said enough but the product on here continues to get better and better. I recently discovered the podcasts and I love them. If Mediacom ever fixes my internet I'm looking forward to catching up with 3 weeks of them.

Rob is a fair, legitimate journalist. What I like most about his style is the fact that he seeks out positive human interest stories as opposed to always going negative. That's Rob's personality in real life too. You guys have nothing to worry about. Trust me.

Rob is a good guy. I played late night pickup basketball at Lied with him when I worked at ISU. Over the past few years I've run into him around Ames and we always chat about Cyclone sports.
