Opposite for me. Kendrick has a depth that J Cole just doesn't have, which would make it a weird partnership.
They are 2 of the top 5 if not top 3 rappers in the game that have shown to have a range of different styles they can vibe to. I think both of their uniqueminds will combine to create a wonderful piece of art. Not sure why anyone would be opposed to seeing two of the best of this generation make a collab album.
And to your point I think their different styles would work well together. I agree, I think Kendrick has another level that J Cole can't touch, but everything Cole puts out is meaningful and has a passion to it that most cant create within their music. These are two of the most passionate creators and wouldn't put anything out that they don't think is advancing the rap game and bettering music

We went canoeing for a good friend's bachelor party this summer, and Wheeler Walker Jr. was the only music we had.
We started slapping our canoe paddles in unison to the beat on "Drop Em Out", and it became a bit of a meme for the whole weekend.
Jason Boland might be dropping a new record sometime this year. That would be awesome. Squelch was OK, but not near as good Dark and Dirty Mile.

From Brett's post I'm probably looking forward to First Aid Kit and The National the most. One not on there that I'm really looking forward to is The Magnetic Fields' new album that comes out in March.

Jason Eady self-titled album comes out April 21st. I like the two songs I've heard from it so far.
My thoughts:
- Grandaddy is still around?
- Zach De La Rocha is still alive?
- I hope The National's album is good, but sometimes I think they should cut a few more songs and take a little more time.
- I'm seeing Japandroids and Craig Finn in March. I think this show has potential
- Neutral Milk Hotel should be interesting.
