Oh, I know, I'll open a coffee shop that only serves beer and liquor. And we'll have pool tables, darts, and a big screen tv. Should be a hit.

I like playing darts at bars...but I'm also constantly aware of how a bar is probably the worst place for people to play darts.

Hey guys after we hit up a late breakfast at Tommy’s let’s head over to the place where we can’t drink alcohol. It’s exactly how I picture the mindset of people in the Quad Cities.

It will be interesting to see how this goes over. Seems like people have tried this in the past with zero success.

I hope they signed a short lease term.

Someone doesn't know what a coffee shop is. Or, at least an Amsterdam-style coffee shop, anyway.

It's not Tommy's, it's Ross's. At least that was the case before the new I-74 bridge they're building forced them out of their traditional downtown Bettendorf location and out onto the 53rd Ave corridor (the last place I would ever want to eat at a place like Ross's). And I can't imagine anyone from the QC ever going to a place that doesn't serve alcohol after eating at a place like Ross's.

Why not have a special non-alcholic cocktail menu but still serve alcohol too?
