If there's a CFB or CBB game on there, I'll watch that channel, and prior to the broadcast they'll have some show on. I distinctly remember seeing Nndamukong Suh's highlight reel on there. Made absolutely zero sense.

Big Ten won't let them play an out of conference replacement team. A lot of in house fighting between Nebby and the Big 10 these last few months. Nebraska is a perfect fit in the B1G...lots of big ego teams there with a huge sense of entitlement. Always thought TOE and Nebraska fans have a lot in common. Throw in Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State. Can't think a better place for Nebraska to be.

Nah, Minnesota actually has a local talent base to recruit. I always told my Nebraska fan buddy that he better start worrying if they have sustained bad seasons long enough it’s going to be really hard for them to get back to even Pelini era success. That link to history is gone. He thinks optimistically with the West sucking and maybe Iowa headed for struggles in a KF transition Nebraska can win a decent amount of games in the future, but he thinks at best they Could pull an Iowa and average 7-8 wins and have the stars align once in a while and win 9-10.

Oh yeah, Minnesota has the talent base, they just need to keep it in state. Nebraska has the larger fan support though (and probably will). I was just more thinking of national relevancy. and for those of you that followed football in the '80s, we are as far from Nebraska winning a national title as Minnesota was back then.

Problem is that media footprint approach keeps getting less and less relevant all the time. The next time any realignment happens the schools in small markets but have bigger alumni based and fans willing to pay for content are going to be more valuable than big market schools whose “fans” DGaF.

Nebraska voted to create the LHN.
Nebraska voted against equal revenue sharing.
They left Big 12 because of LHN.
They joined a league with equal revenue sharing.

These are the actions of a spoiled irrational child.

And the Big10 knew all of this when they extended an offer to the spoiled irrational child. If the conference thought Nebby would fall in line once in the Big10, their arrogance was rewarded with what they asked for.
